Men’s Tennis ITA Academic 2025: UNF Ospreys Score Big On and Off the Court
TEMPE, Ariz. – July 24, 2025
North Florida men’s tennis has clinched prestigious recognition by being named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the Spring 2025 semester, boasting a team GPA of 3.64.
This academic achievement reflects the team’s dedication to excellence not only on the court but also in the classroom. To qualify for the ITA All-Academic Team, a program must earn a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Nine UNF Players Named ITA Scholar-Athletes
In addition to the team award, nine student-athletes were honored individually as ITA Division I Scholar-Athletes, having each maintained at least a 3.5 GPA over the academic year:

Top Academic Men’s Program at UNF
Among all men’s athletic programs at the University of North Florida, the men’s tennis team led the department with the highest team GPA for the semester.
A National Benchmark
In 2025, across NCAA Division I men’s tennis, 994 student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 159 programs earned All-Academic Team honors. The Ospreys’ recognition places them among the nation’s best in balancing elite athletics with academic achievement.
